vomit smell – how to remove/get rid of the smell

Smell of vomit is really stinks and nothing more stinks and nasty smelling stuff than that. Removal of vomit smell can be a toughest job because if you were careless, it can be more stinks and become permanent.

Sometimes using Febreeze is not good enough to remove vomit smell completely. Borax is recommended for remove vomit smell, although it is for laundry but there is some test that show vomit smell on carpets and mattresses can be clean with borax that dissolved in hot water.

  1. Remove the smell of vomit from carpets | clothes.
    Paste of water and baking soda should do the tricks. Rubbing it to the carpet and sprinkling additional dry baking soda on the site of vomit and let it for a few hours. Vacuum the paste immediately after it dry and remove all the dry paste by scrape it as needed. This is works great especially with baby spit-up.
  2. Remove vomit smell from a car.
    Get to the source of the smell and clean the problem area by using an ammonia cleaner such as OdoBan. Remove the vomit smell by scrub the the spot with paste of baking soda and water. Instead of baking soda, Charcoal briquettes also works great to absorb the smell within a few days.
